Coaching education

At Phocus Soccer we believe it’s in the long run a coach can have a positive impact on the (youth) players they work with. It’s for this exact reason we see coaching education as our number one service to bring value to the communities and organizations we work with.

Phocus Soccer Coaching Education gives youth coaches the practical handle bars to develop your teams. Our curriculum, consisting of theoretical and practical sessions, is taught by our UEFA-licensed staff and covers topics such as “building technical foundations”, “tactical periodization”, and “game analyzis”. The exact level and contents of each course are tailored to your organizations needs.

It’s the process, we don’t preach on how to coach, but focus on engaging in constructive discussions and dialogue, in order to communicate best practices from some of the world’s top youth academies to your coaches.

Testimonials

“Phocus Soccer’s Coaching Education has provided us immeasurable value in giving our coaches the tools and knowledge to develop our players. Their approach of combining classroom sessions with on-field demo has really struck a chord with our coaches. Also, as an organization with a mix of both experienced and first-time volunteer coaches, Phocus Soccer has offered a split course aligning with our coaches’ level of experience. We’ve now had two years of their Coaching Education and are excited to continue moving up in their curriculum.”

“Phocus Soccer has educated no less than four cohorts of coaches from all over Western Africa for our organization. The curriculum has also prepared me to obtain UEFA-C licensing myself. Their approach and patience works to span any cultural and language barrier and has provided us a way to strengthen ties with soccer organizations throughout Ghana and neighboring countries as well.”
